My First Mother's Day!

I know it's a little late, but I wasn't online much during Mother's Day weekend.  My husband ended up getting me a Batman onsie for our LO. I LOVE Batman, and even though our LO is a girl, she can still love Batman too,...... hopefully, we'll let her decide when she's old enough. He got me the sauce that I love from Buffalo Wild Wings, and have been craving since I was 7 months pregnant. Saturday we ended up going out and getting our mothers gifts.... yeah we were last minute shoppers this year. Then we ventured onto lunch/dinner. We took our LO with us and surprisingly she slept during most of it. She woke up when our appetizer got to our table, we ordered the Baked Spinach Dip, ( It's delicious ). She was all smiles and happy to be out, which made me happy. She sat in our lap during our meal and watched us, and giggled ( I love her giggle ). Our waiter was pretty cool, he ended up giving our appetizer to us for free, just because we filled out a survey on our experience. That's always a plus. :) My husband ordered some Chicken Parmesan Sandwich with a salad, and I got the Veggie Burger with Sweet Potato Fries.

For dessert, Brownie pops! These are so unhealthy but so unbelievably delicious. They are brownie bites ( deep fried I think) served with a caramel sauce and cream cheese icing. Those are pretty much two weeks worth of cheat days for me lol, but totally worth it.

Sunday for Mother's Day my husband made me the homemade version of Parmesan Garlic boneless wings. He also watched our LO so I could have a nap and shower. It's the little things that make days like Mother's Day amazing. Just being with the ones you love as well!
My first Mother's Day was awesome, and I can't wait for many more to come. I hope everyone else had a great day too.

  2. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY. I think we should be able to wish each other Happy Mother's Day till just about Father's Day time. LOL
We are kind of busy creatures, specially new mothers. Even at my age I do not stop thinking about my kids and my grand kids.
Glad that you had a wonderful mother's day.

  3. It's so great to hear that you had a terrific Mothers Day!

Luv Buffalo Wild Wings, especially on Wednesday where kids eat for like 0.99 cents.
